Benefits
There are PEREGRINE diesel tank heaters available to suit most tank applications.
- They are available in many supply voltages (see voltage sheet) and wattages, the heater watts-density and type being suited to the application in question.
- All but a few of the smaller heaters are thermostatically controlled, with their own integral thermostats and/or with a separate control thermostat, depending on the application in question.
- Diesel tank heaters are used for frost protection, preventing the waxing of diesel fuel, reducing liquid viscosity for pumping, and many other industrial purposes.
- We stock thermostats with many different temperature ranges in order to be able to cover any tank temperature requirement, and supply heaters with a watts-density and material suited to the medium being heated.
- Diesel tank heaters recently supplied have ranged from a 50-watt unit for a small chemical process tank, to a number of 57,000-watt heaters used to pre-heat water for concrete production in bridge building.
- PEREGRINE heaters are available with various screw threads or flanges and can be manufactured to match customers’ existing heaters, should replacements for alternative manufacturers’ units be required.
- We can supply diesel fuel preheaters in both standard and weatherproof types, for side tank entry and for tank top entry, which are typically for use with bunded tanks or where side tank access is not practical.
- Side diesel tank entry heaters are also available with withdrawable elements for ease of element replacement, and in various metals including stainless steel for heating corrosive liquids.
